Limcon - Lacking of description of parameters for each type of connection

Hi Support Team

when using Limcon there are many times I do not know exactly or completely sure what is the meaning of the input parameters for each type of connections.

For example, in the single brace connection, the window for the gusset plate dimension (additional window), asks for the vertical offset dimension. How is this dimension defined?

The output sketch does not show this dimension. How exactly needs to be used? Sp, for example, can this offset dim. be added to the key diagram?

Also, if I am using a column and a beam size, how is the beam connected to the brace as the beam is not shown at all in the output sketch. is it not considered for the calculation?

If I want the gusset plate to be welded to both column and beam, can I do that?

My suggestion, it should be available for the users a page in your website for each type of connection, with an example file, a description of each design parameter (graphic and written) as the input windows are minimal in this type of information, even with abbreviations!!

Other thing, it seems there is no consistency with forces signs. Normally in Limcon, axial forces are defined positive for tension and negative for compression.

But in the KT connection, the axial forces in the chord N*op and N*o are positive for compression!!!!! This should be clearly described/explained in the input windows.

I hope you can help us all of us, the users.

(and please do not answer with "post this question in the..." if you know where it has to be placed, send it yourself to the right place so the you help to speed the solution. It is hard enough already to surf through your website to find any help/support)

Thanks
