I have a situation where I am trying to validate the punching shear results from RAM Concept regarding a corner condition. Could someone please explain, using the attached audit log, how one would get the maximum shear stress of 293.4 psi based on the information provide in the audit log? The perimeter length is 57 in which is a result of two effective edges of 28.5 in.
The unbalanced moment should be entirely a result of the eccentricity of shear, however I am having difficulty validating these results based on the audit log.
I would appreciate it if someone could go through the steps of showing how 293.4 psi has come about.
