Error. Density not provided. Selfweight Command Ignored


why is the unity check greater than 1 when it doesn't add up to 1

here it shows the check being 2.297

The ratios don't add up to 2.297 and end up being less than 1.  what am I missing?

Self Supported Arch roof analysis

I want to analyse the roof structure for dead load, live load and wind load. I am confused about the direction of the loading on the plates. Can anyone give me some suggestion? 
Also How can i analyse the running beam that will carry the load? We use a running angle that is welded with the beam and the roof is screwed with the arch roof communities.bentley.com/.../ARCH-ROOF.std

Deflection Check in STAAD as per AISC 360

I am not getting correct output for Deflection check . I have already defined required paraemeters however the critical loadcase for all beam shown as last defined loadcase . Also the values of Permissible deflection shown is not correct . My beam length is 6 000 mm and I have defined value of 360 but it is showing different value . I am checking deflection as per AISC -360 unified code ASD method . I am getting failures in the beam however when I check maximum vertical deflection at middle node , it is less than permissible value .

I am trying to create RF panel for tower loading. I am finding it quite difficult to do. I can load the Dishes but I can't find the RF panels in the Ms_anc.lib can any one assist me in getting a comprehensive ancillary library file or teach me how to create one?

Number of iteration for Pdelta

Hi,

Good day.

I just want to know how to get the number of iterations for pdelta analysis. (or a good number to use)

Every increase in the number of iteration also increase the displacement and stress by a large percent after a certain iteration (say, 14 to 15)

Feature Request | Addition of more section databases in the Section Wizard

Hello.

On clicking Section wizard > 'Create Standard Section' (highlighted in red box) > Double prismatic I section (pressed icon)

I can find only a few databases in the 'Database option'. Most importantly, the Euro sections are NOT included.

Why is that? Why can't all the available section databases in STAAD.Pro, be available by default?

Does Staad.beava still available inside Structural Enterprise?

Dear Bentley,

One of our client would like to purchase add-on Staad.beava for their existing Staad.Pro under select,

Since Staad.beava no longer available as add-on but was available under Structural enterprise.

But as I downloaded latest Structural Enterprise brochure, I'm unable to find Staad.beava compare to previous brochure.

Please advise how to purchase the Staad.beava.

Rotation of structure

I tried to rotate the structure using the rotate option. When the struture rotated, the beta angle of the individual members also changed. Is there any option in staad to rotate the structure with out changing the beta angle of section ?

We have a issue, 
We prepared a design to our client in tender stage.
Same model now when it is analysed in Staad connect there are failure messages (below is the screen shot). 
There are many beams with this failure message,
Can you let us know is there any major modification done in Connect Version, how to overcome this impact.
Pls advice, why is this implication.
