I am analyzing a small equipment platform using Staad build 20.07.11.50. I have built in T-section that fails and I am wondering why it failed.
I tried running it in an old version of Staad build 20.07.4.12 (Yes, we still have this) and the T-section column is fine.
Can someone give me a clear answer on this one? I have investigated it already myself. If there's an error in the Staad analysis, this should be corrected.
There seems to be an error when the built-in member is under tension. Thanks
