RAM Masonry Wall Module - Two Layers of Vertical Reinforcement, One Layer of Horizontal Reinforcement

Hi,

I am doing an analysis on an existing masonry wall where an opening will be created.  The wall is 12" thick and has (2) vertical bars (1 each face) but only (1) horizontal bar (centered).  In the Design data I can select two layers of reinforcement; however, once I go to the Detailing tab to edit the reinforcement it is unclear whether the software is using (1) layer or (2) layers of horizontal reinforcement (the diagrams contradict themselves in the Detailing tab and the report just says the bar size and spacing, but not the "d" or the "As" for the horizontal bars).  Note that we have checked the "number of bars" output in the report, and it only shows number of rows (i.e. dimension/spacing) and does not change if there are (1) layer or (2) layers.  Please help, thanks!
