I run into a situation where a different level (LV.3) needs to be created, so I make a copy from an existing level (LV.2) and modify the floor-to-floor height. After running column design on my model, I can see different colors in each full height column. I suspect this is not normal. Since the column height only runs floor to floor, I have to manually add columns in Lv.2, so the columns underneath LV.2 are continuous from ground level to LV.2. I don't want to add splices on all columns because I want them to remain same size throughout in each column line. Any way to merge 2 columns into 1 column? Or how do I fix it? Thank you.
