I am from the Philippines, I have no formal training in using Staad Pro V8i, I 've just learned to use Staad in my present job. Normally, I start my design by inputting the coordinates of the structure with the uppermost leftmost as my reference x,y,z (0,0,0). One time my boss ask me to try to layout the structure in Staad using different reference..meaning, the front view of my structure will be the right side in different layout. In doing this, I noticed that there is a difference in analysis and design result between these two cases..Can you help me thru explaination why there is a different result with these two cases? Thank you.
