Hello,
I have modeled a building in RAM 15.04 with semi-rigid diaphragms. When I run the frame analysis using a dynamic ASCE 7-10 response spectra seismic load case and view the animated deflected shape, it appears that the frame and diaphragms are hinging out of plane. For example when an X direction earthquake is applied and the animated deflected shape is viewed, the frame columns, beams, and the diaphragms break in the Y direction. I have attached a snapshot of the behavior and will upload the RAM file I am working from. What could be causing the model to behave this way, and how can I fix it?
