STADD.Pro V8i uses reduced stiffness for Direct Analysis Method AISC 350-05 / 10.
As per AISC 360-10 page 16.1-280 (see attached picture below), the reduced stiffness should be used for strength and stability limit state but NOT for calculating drift, deflection…
I found that STADD.Pro V8i uses the reduced stiffness for calculating drift, deflection. Please check and advise.
