Hello,
I want to apply horizontal load of 1.5kN/m2 on particular areas as shown on the snip below (footbridge parapets).
I have tried adding plate/area load but that requires a surface.
Similarly I have tried adding floor load but I cannot apply it to certain areas. Additionally it takes diagonals into account and I do not want them to take any horizontal load. The third issue is that I cannot find a way to apply it in local coordinates, only global, hence I cannot apply it to the whole footbridge at once.
Could you please advice on the best way to work around this? I have attached the model for reference.
