Moment Releases in Staad

Hello,

I want to understand member releases in staad better. The attached figure has 2 beams in x and z-direction. At the joint, it has a short column going down then another beam and a knee brace. Finally, it has a bottom column fixed to the base.

1. I have Mz and My release for top two beams as I don't want to transfer moment from there. So does this mean the connection of the top 2 beams acts like a pinned connection to the column? (I released the moment as the intention was to make the connection as a pinned connection.)

2. I have a moment release in Mz, My at the end of the short column as I don't want to transfer the moment from this short column to the beam and column below. Again does that mean it will act as pin connection?

3. I want a pin connection between the bottom beam and the bottom big column. So can I just release Mz, My at top of column or end of beam? Will that suffice? If not then can you please let me know how can I make that connection act as a pin connection.

I have also attached the code as by doing all 3 steps as mentioned above, I am getting an instability which should not have occurred. Any help will be really appreciated. It is like a recurring issue I am facing while using moment releases in Staad.

Thanks
