Max Live Load Reduction

I am using RAM Concept's live load reduction capabilities and have noticed that the "Max Live Load Reduction" is set to 40% as a default.

IBC allows a maximum reduction of up to 50% per 1607.10.1. Is there a reason I am not aware of for limiting this reduciton to 40%? Is there any thought of updating the defaults within RAM to match the code?
