Design tab - Define Parameters for TB

Hi All,

I have a a request from client to set the design capacity of the beam and column to elastic capacity meaning - py*Z.  We are still using BS code and for staad it is designed to plastic capacity.  I tried setting the limit for the elastic capacity request in the design parameters for TB - 1.2py*Z but the staad results still checked again the plastic capacity.

I don't have a good understanding of how to use the "define parameters" function.  Is there anything I can do so that staad will design the members base on elastic capacity?
