Fundamental natural Period

Hi there...

I am making a Seismic definition as per IS 1893...

I did not provide the type of structure in definition and staad calculated the value for Time period which was way too much low as per empirical relation given in IS code.. So.. how does staad calculates Fundamental natural period if the type of structure is not given...???
