Pile cap analysis within Staad

Hi 

Please can someone advise how to analyse a pile cap within StaadPro (I appreciate that Staad Foundation has already got this facility).

For a think pile cap strut -tie model is used. is there a way to interpret the results from FE model.

Or one should be reading the 'Mx' and 'My' values and design the section and rebar by assuming a tentative width of 1m.
