Hi,
In the long term deflection output from RAM below it shows deflections at the supports. This is obviously not physically possible. The column stops it from deflecting.
So first of all, why does this happen?
And secondly, Is it reasonable to minus the deflection indicated at the columns from the deflection at midspan, to get the accurate deflection at midspan?
