Please see attached model where I have specified few elements without material to avoid any strength and weight contribution from them. Staad for some reason does not analyse and errs that ELASTIC MODULUS to be assigned. Is there a way around this issue. I can also specify 'DUMMY_' property to these sections to avoid any weight contribution but still does not work. I have a similar variation model with material -less elements specified and that does run fine.
