Hi,
I was hoping that someone could provide some insight as to why I am having an issue with RAM Frame recognizing a braced frame when the diaphragm is assigned as pseudo-flexible, specifically when the orientation of the brace is changed. I have a case where I have a high and low roof tying into the same braced frame as shown below. When the diagonals are oriented in the same manner at each level (left is high, right is low) RAM recognizes the frame and allows me to assign a percentage of the low roof loads into that frame. However due to a couple of outside factors, I have to orient the lower brace to go from right being the point, to the left side being the low point. When I make this change, RAM does not recognize the frame. Any input is appreciated!
