How staad foundation advanced deal with seismic load of the foundation itself for overtuning check?

When doing the foudation overtuning check, how does the program deal with the seismic load from foundation itself? I couldn't find any option to specify seimsic parameters. I am assuming we need to apply the seismic load from the foundation itself from its center of gravity to the overtuning edge to check. Please help.
