I have two complaints about the STAAD’s new GUI (Version 21.00.01.12)
Having created moving loads it is no longer possible to move the loads by holding arrow key down on the PC-keyboard to see how loads and their response would be on the beam elements as one can only select only one generated moving load at a time.
Obviously, it would be quite cumbersome when you have a number of generated loads.
The other thing is the way “View” is re-defined.
When you are working on a model and creating a number of entities (nodes, beams, plate elements, etc) you need continuously to change your current view.
Unfortunately, creating a complex model requires a lot of in/out of where you are and too much clicking to view the model.
In my opinion, view should be available no matter where you are in STAAD.
Has the developing team received any feedback on this?
I wish to see GUI as it was before meaning quite user friendly!
