I hope everyone is fine and doing good.
I have been using STAADPro V8i for the structural analysis and design of Pre Engineered Steel Buildings.
I issue that I face the most is in STAADPro V8i input file, he have to enter overall depth of the Built-Up I-Section including flange thicknesses. Where as in Pre Engineered Buildings industry we are interested to input web depth of the Built-Up I-Section and software will automatically calculate the overall depth of the section for analysis and design purposes.
