I am attempting to model a sloped roof in RAM Modeler.
I have started by modeling it as though it were flat. Next, I have achieved the slope by using the Layout>Columns>Modify Elevation command. This worked well for most conditions. All girder elevations adjusted appropriately and things appear to be coplanar. The issue which I am having is that some beams which are supported by girders are not moving with the girders. In other words, the beams are staying at the story elevation while the girders are going up or down.
I also had a condition where a column would not raise. I tried increasing the story height of the level above by a few feet and it still would not allow me to raise the column elevation.
Does anybody have experience with these issues? Is there a workaround or a better approach?
