For starters, here is the version I am using. STAAD.Pro CONNECT Edition - Version 21.00.02.30.
Now for my question and I apologize if this has been asked elsewhere. I did try to find a solution online if this had been asked before and was unsuccessful. So hopefully this question will help me and others who may have the same question.
When I run a report I always include the printout of the Analysis Output. The program determines where page breaks are and most of the formatting of the print. For whatever reason, in the STEEL DESIGN section, it only prints 7 members to a page leaving half of the page blank. This is quite annoying as it is the usually the most lengthy portion of the report and can double the page count needlessly. This has actually been an issue for a couple of versions. In the previous versions, I could do a page setup and tell the printer to ignore the predefined STAAD page breaks. However, in the new edition that option no longer exists. Is there a setting that can be changed to tell it to print 14 members per page rather than the 7 it is currently doing? Or is there a way to print the output with page breaks ignored?
I know the.ANL file is just a text file and I could open it from notepad and print it. But then I see where all the page breaks and formatting that is present in the file. Those are not desirable in the printout. I suppose I could move them around and manually reformat their location but that would take forever to get done and I could accidentally change something that I don't want to change.
