I have a building that is mostly two stories with a connected one story area; the two areas are structurally connected so it is preferred that they are modeled together.The one story area has a sloped roof. When I try to slope the roof of the one story area, the slab of the two story area stays connected to it causing the beams and diaphragm of the one story area to slope upwards (see image below). There are two different decks assigned to the two different areas already and there is a slab edge between the different decks. Is there anyway I can properly model this, or do I have to leave the roof slope out of the model?
