I have steel structure analysed and check under code BS5950.
I noticed that the Mb , Buckling Moment Capacity wont have any changes even I apply the parameter of LZ and LY in the beam elements.
See the difference below between two segments. The shorter 2m beam had been assigned with LZ and LY as 12m but the design result still not updated and giving much higher Mb. Is this intended by Bentley to show result in this manner or there is another approach that will consider is buckling and slenderness issue.
