Staad Foundation -Mat

Hi

I am trying to analyse a mat foundation using staad foundation advanced and having following troubles:

1. snapping to nodes on grid

2. placing piles at the desired nodes by snapping on to them. tools > Mat geometry

I appreciate the youtube tutorial but is there a step by step example available.
