I have a file with several thousand elements from which I would like to output result forces for my own post-processing. If I create a table of the forces, I am able to get up to five decimal places (and even more digits of precision). Because of the number of elements in the model, however, it in impractical to "copy and paste" the table to Excel or Notepad (it takes too long).
If I try to output the same results from "Export Report --> Text File", I am only able to get 8 characters of output, some of which are taken by negative signs and decimals points. If the numbers are larger, scientific notation ("E##") takes even more of the available characters.
Is there any way to increase the characters for the text output of the report to achieve greater precision, which is the only practical way to export large amounts of data?
