So I was analyzing a steel ring and was trying different beam sizes to see the affect of that on the different increments (each is like a small beam). It appears that there is no change in the moment or axial load due to the change in stiffness. To double check I changed it to a rhombus shape just to make sure the amount of nodes are not affecting the members. Is there a problem with RAM Elements when changing the member stiffness of the beam.
