The warning for beams when designed as per Indian Standard 13920- " Singly Reinforced beam fails and so increase beam depth".
My point is when the beam section fails as singly reinforced beam , why don't STAAD design the beam as doubly reinforced beam instead of asking user to increase the depth of beam.
Is there any design parameter which need to be assigned for such cases.
Please help with your valuable suggestions.
