I need to use the Master-Slave connection for one of my structure. Before, using it directly in my structure I tried to understand the behaviour first. For that, I have modelled a simple frame with two main supporting beams and one secondary beam. Snapshot for the same is attached herewith. I am unable to understand the SFD of the secondary beam in the attached snapshot. Since, it is a central concentrated load, there should be a sudden change in the SFD at the location of concentrated load, but it shows the linear variation. Please correct me if my interpretation is wrong or suggest me about the behaviour.
