Hello, opening here a new thread for this today topic of mine.

Hello,
just noticed a model that I used to run in 5 minutes with build 20.07.11.33, is now running in 18 minutes, with build 21.00.01.12 out of the box.
Same computer, same model STD file, don't see anything special in that model, spectrum analysis, 4000 beams, 3000 plates, foundation piles modeled as springs.
18 mins compared to 5 mins is quite a difference. Any clue how to improve that?
Activation status is marked as "activated" for STAAD advanced analysis. Actually in the license management tool list the status is activated for everything but STAAD foundations, which I don't use.
Thanks.
Luca

If you were using STAAD Advanced Analysis Engine and now are using STAAD.Pro basic license, then it is expected that analysis time is so different. If you have a license for STAAD.Pro Advanced, please try to switch to that license to fasten the analysis. To do that, please follow these steps:
1) Open the start-up page of STAAD.Pro and go to 'Configure';
2) Click 'Options' in the opened dialog and check the box next to 'Show Licensing dialog' and the click OK;
3) Restart STAAD.Pro. A licensing dialog should appear. Switch license from STAAD.Pro to STAAD.Pro Advanced and click Accept.
Next time, for a new topic please create a new Forum post.

Thanks for your advice. Unfortunately no licence dialog has appeared.
In the license management tool list, the status is activated for everything but STAAD foundations -- the advanced analysis engine license is also activated. Don't know if some further step is needed in order to actually use it. Still looking for a solution.
