RAM SS- Composite Beam Web Opening

I read through the FAQ "Why are my composite beams being designed as non-composite members?' section but am still confused why RAM SS and SBeam both has po<5.6 limits for web penetrations, even for composite beams.

I used Design Guide as an reference where it states "The opening parameter, po, should be limited to a maximum value of 5.6 for steel sections and 6.0 for composite sections". I understand Seith's idea of DG is not general enough for universally opening design, but in my case, I will have to use a deeper opening to get it to work, otherwise none of the beam size works due to the ao/ho and po limit. Is this true? What else can I do to resolve?
