STAAD Dead Load CG

I am analyzing cg shift sensitive structures. I am comparing STAAD cg with the weight report cg. However, I am having trouble with the selfweight cg.  For the selfweight, one would think that cg will only be caused by the vertical loads, obviously. However, when I run STAAD, it is giving me a cg caused by horizontal forces. This happens when I apply a factor to the selfweight that is not a whole number. What makes this more odd is that if I apply a factor to the selfweight that is less than 1, it is giving me the correct cg. And, I separate the declaration if I have a factor that has a decimal (say 1 line saying selfweight -1.0, another line saying selfweight -0.1), it also gives me the correct cg. But never when I declare "selfweight -1.1".
