How to design concrete and steel in one file AND why do my truss members fail?

Hello, all!

I'm new to the world of STAAD and have been teaching myself the past 3 months for my ongoing senior design project. I've ran into the ground on a couple aspects and can't seem to figure them out. They go as follows:

1.) Why do the only members in my model that really fail are my truss members?

2.) Why won't my concrete grade beams return an interaction ratio post-analysis? 

3.) Is my analysis programmed correctly for concrete and steel in the first place?

Much thanks to anyone who provides feedback. I will say as a disclaimer: my file is absolutely HUGE as our senior design project is a monster.
