I have been using staad pro for one of my unit's subject this trimester. I've been doing well I think, as I tried to analyze and it showed 0 error and 0 warnings. However, as I was on the last step -- analyzing, I tried doing that but the graphs seem incorrect.
As shown in the screenshot, the bending moment graph is at 2nd degree (slant line), and the shear diagram is at 1st degree (straight line). This is not possible since the loads I've put are uniformly distributed loads (E.g. live load = 3 kPa, dead load = slab, beam and columns itself, and a superimposed dead load of 0.658 kPa). May I please ask why this is happening?
Another question, we're required to show the shear and bending moment diagrams of each beam. However, since I put plates in the middle, I don't know how to show the V & M Diagrams per member. Is that possible? Showing it in 2D like say it would just show the beam on node 10-67-68-69-70-11? Just that span?
