subgrade modulus as defined in staad suggest(units as mention in input) that its value is = bearing capacity/ allowable displacement
whereas the J E Bowle suggest that k(subgrade moudulus that is stiffness )= 40 *bearing capacity* factor of safety.
both of these give different results.
this relation should we use while modelling foundation for soil intereraction for better and reliable result.
