I'm having trouble understanding where RAM connections are getting certain values. I have a W30x90 beam framed over the top of an HSS10x10x5/8 tube. The program is using only half the load that I applied and the values for bearing length (N) are inconsistent and much less than the width of the tube. I don't understand where the software is getting the value for N and why it's only using half the input load to compare with. Has anyone had similar issues with this particular connection?
