I am presently using SS4(20.7.9.20) for my analysis.
The output for shear capacity of the section will be shown as
(1)For major axis bending ZZ
(2) For Minor axis bending YY
But in the latest revision SS6(20.7.11.33) the results are reversed for shear in major axis and minor axis bending.
The earlier version is right ...that is with the major axis bending, the transverse shear is in Y Y direction and web area is considered for the calculation of shear capacity and for the minor axis bending, the shear is in ZZ and twice the flange area is considered as the shear area. This seems right in earlier version.
But in the later version this is reversed and the shear capacity displayed is not right with respect to the major and minor axis.
