Hi,
Here are some questions
It's all about special connection check for 'under (strong) seismic load' according to ch 6 EN 1998-1
1. If some connection is designed according to the procedures in SCI 398 or SCI 358, the connection can be called as dissipative connection because *plastice* resistance moment or shear is always used. am I right?
2. Suppose there is a piperack analysed according to EN3 and all members are class 1 or 2. The members would be definately analysed by plastic design. And that means the structure, piperack, must be dissipative structure, right?
3. Can RAM Connection progarm concern the 'Connection Check under Seismic'?
