Does anyone know a way to apply wind loads to only certain members of an open structure? I know there is a work-around for this when analyzing closed structures, but I am hoping there is a way to do this for open structures, without having to specify wind loads as distributed loads for each individual member. Also, using the ranges for the wind loads is no less tedious in this instance.
