Assigning Design Parameter using OpenSTAAD

Good day everyone,

I'll just if there is a way to assign a Design Parameter into the models using OpenSTAAD.

I found this snippet "Function AssignDesignParameter"  but I don't know how to use it.

Any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks..!
