Good day Engineers,
I'm new in Staad.pro and currently I am designing a simple steel structure to support a water tank. For all the members I am using an angle bar. My problem here is I can't design the connections for my structure when using ram connections this error occur "Unable to connect joint only I shapes are allowed for beams". Then I try using the Command "SELECT WELD TRUSS ALL" but I get 0 length for the weld.
Is it possible to design connections for angle bar only using staad.pro?
