I have a slab modelled with a set of columns and walls supporting the slab.
What's the difference between column/wall "numbers" (when you have the numbers on in the visibility, in the 'mesh input - standard plan' tab) and the "IDs" (when you export the results tables and you are looking at the reactions in the columns/walls)?
I would have thought they would align, but for some of my wall elements, the numbers and the IDs are different. For example, wall number 37 = ID 927. I match them up using the coordinates, but this is confusing.
And a follow up question...
Is there a way to change these IDs? I want them to match the column/walls names I've given them and it's too time consuming to match each RAM ID with my own naming system after I've exported the data from RAM.
