I am new user to StaadFoundation.My doubt is
1.When I import loads from Staad.Pro model I select the following load combination cases in accordance with IS code. 1.) DL+LL, 2. 1.2(DL+LL+ELX),3.1.2(DL+LL-ELX),4. 1.2(DL+LL+ELZ), 5. 1.2(DL+LL-ELZ).
2. but it appears that the Program is supposed to use service load case i.e.DL+LL for calculating footing size and checking base Pressures. The other load cases are to be used for Design of Footing slab and reinforcement.
3. If this is true.How do i ensure this in the input stage.
4. Because i feel the Program takes all the load cases for both the operations.
5. Can somebody clear my doubts please.
