Does staad takes the effective length of column (1.2 or 0.8 the input given by us while designing) or does it take c/c between nodes as effective length of column??
Because while analyzing the the effective length is not mentioned, but while designing we give the effective length of column (depending on end conidtions),this inturn have effect on moment distribution since I/L changes w.r.t length (effective or c/c of nodes).
