I am working on a Masonry Building in RAM Elements. I am using the integrated Masonry Wall module to do the reinforcing design. I am running into an issue, however. Some of the walls have large knockout metal panels - I have designated those as openings in the main model, but want to account for the pressure in the wall design.
When I go into the Masonry Module, it does not appear as though the "Distribute Pressure Load" dialogue in the advanced options has any effect, nor does it hold between sessions of the wall detailer, even for the same wall panel design:
Am I missing something? Am I better off splitting the wall up into smaller pieces - 3 for the jambs, 1 for the "overhead" piece, and then putting in a dummy wall panel of some other material with no stiffness to distribute the load to the walls surrounding the openings? This is also an issue for the door and windows in the office portion of the building.
Any guidance is appreciated. I have scoured the documentation for RAM Elements and the modules, but they are of no help that I could find.
