I'm trying to verify a moment frame design that RAM says is failing under gravity loads while other software I'm using as a cross-check shows it being OK. I'm having some difficulty following the "View Loads" output in the beam module. I'm trying to match up the loads as closely as possible to see where the difference lies. Just trying to look at 1 simple case, I have a 4'-3" trib width between P1 & P3, with 15psf partition load, for a linear partition load of 63.75plf. RAM shows a 64 plf partition load from W4 to W5, which would be correct, but it also seems to be showing a 29plf partition load as well. Am I misreading the output below? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
