The project i'm working on requires some portion of roof to be of precast hollow core planks. I'm thinking of modelling hollow core planks with an equivalent solid plate element with reduced thickness (since I'm only concern with in-plane stifness). I need the plate element to be able to transfer in-plane shear ONLY. Under "Specification" tab I see "Plate Spec/Release..FX, FY, FZ, MX, MY, MZ" can you please confirm that these are plate local axis hence when I model the hollow core planks I can release FZ, MX, MY, MZ. Thanks
