I am 1st time designing a pipe bridge kind of structure in STAAD version 20.07.11.70 using Direct analysis method. My questions are
1) Is it necessary to define member end release using partial fixity or should i assign MY & MZ ?
2) Is it necessary to assign partial fixity to bracing member as well, or it is okay if i use MEMBER TRUSS command?
3) Is there any issue if i assign CAN 1 command to check column displacement using Direct analysis method ?
